Computer implemented method for integrating data from the Web from different sources by using SPARQL, a query language able to retrieve and manipulate data stored in Resource Description Framework (RDF), possibly including schema information in RDF Schema (RDFS). The invention concerns an computer implemented method for integrating data from the Web from different sources by using SPARQL, comprising:

• arithmetic equation axioms, which extend Resource Description Framework Schema (RDFS) and its semantics
• a query rewriting algorithm that returns for SPARQL queries not only explicit, but also implicit results that consider not only the RDFS semantics but also the knowledge encoded in equations
• conditions under which complete results can be delivered.
